On Friday, high school student Michael Cottrell found out that he would be in a top-10 class of 2018 at one of his schools, Hudson High School in New York City.
The 14-year-old was one of 13 high school seniors who competed in the competition in a competition held by the U.S. Department of Education.
“The U.K. has the best universities in the world, but it’s not perfect,” said Cottrel, who will be graduating with a degree in business administration from the New York University School of Business.
“They have great academics, and they have great teachers.
It was the best experience I’ve ever had in my life.
I felt like I was at home in the United States.”
