High school cheerleader King High School is celebrating its fourth annual king high championship after defeating St. John Fisher High School in a tiebreaker on Sunday.
King High scored a 3-0 victory over St. Johns Fisher in the first round of the championship game.
St Johns Fisher won in the semifinals.
King has won all four of its games in King High’s five-year history.
The high school team also has won two state championships.
King, located in southwest Florida, is located in Miami-Dade County.
King has a total of 17,000 students, a majority of whom are black, according to the school’s website.
