President Donald Trump on Thursday urged his fellow Americans to not be “unable to vote for him,” saying that while his election could result in “massive voter fraud,” he has not experienced “any” fraud.
“If they’re going to put that in there, that’s fine, and if you have to go vote to get a ballot, then so be it,” Trump said on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” program.
“You should vote for a Democrat.”
While Trump has called for a crackdown on voter fraud, the U.S. Department of Justice has found no evidence that voter fraud has occurred.
Trump also said he was “not going to be taking any action on voter suppression” until the election is over, but did not say how he would enforce those changes.
